Do guests need an ABVENTS account to contribute?
No. Guests simply follow the shared link, send money via M-Pesa or bank transfer, then submit their name and transaction reference on the page. No sign-up required.
How does money reach me?
Contributions go directly to the mobile money number or bank account you set when creating the card. ABVENTS does not hold your funds.
Can I organize contributions by groups?
Yes. You can define groups (e.g. "Class 2010", "Father's Side", "Work Colleagues") and contributors select which group they belong to. You see breakdowns per group in your dashboard.
How much does it cost to send a contribution card?
Sending a contribution card costs 10 tokens (TZS 1,000). Creating cards and managing your account is always free. You purchase tokens via PesaPal using M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Tigo Pesa, or card — then use them whenever you send cards to participants.
Is there a limit on contributions or contributors?
No limit. You can receive as many contributions as you want from as many people as you want on a single card.
Can I create multiple cards for different events?
Yes. Your dashboard lets you manage multiple active contribution cards simultaneously — one for your wedding, another for a birthday, etc.
